Frontline Industries, Inc. was founded by Al Ciotola (right) in 1980 and began as a Valve service company. Frontline expanded its service offering to Pumps and Mechanical Seals and has since grown to become one of the premier Rotating Equipment Service Specialists to the large industrial facilities of the Northeast, focusing on Centrifugal & Positive Displacement Pumps, Gear Reducers, Electric Motors, Blowers, and Centrifugal Fans.
During that time, Al directly experienced the various shortcomings of available Shaft Couplings. In the interest of better serving his customers, he combined his engineering expertise and extensive field experience to develop a new type of Pin & Bush Coupling that addressed the most common problems with Couplings available on the market in one product. This became the “Frontline Coupling” – a non-lubricated, fail-safe, Pin & Bush type Coupling with high misalignment tolerance and minimal maintenance required.
Frontline Couplings has since grown to become a dedicated business unit of Frontline Industries, Inc., and has proven itself in the toughest applications in Pulp & Paper, Chemical, Power, Metals, Food & Beverage and Mining companies throughout the country.
